Jaime Fiorito is an artist and music curator based in Ibiza. His musical selections are a reflection of his upbringing as the son of the legendary DJ Alfredo, who is recognized as the pioneer of the Balearic Beat movement and whose eclectic DJ style had a major influence on dance music’s explosion in the late 1980s. Fiorito’s own journey into music started in the late 1990s when he began promoting small underground parties in the industrial areas of Switzerland’s Lausanne. He then began to play a mixture of organic house and techno sets for a variety of recognized clubs, such as Zukunft in Zurich, Kater Holzig and Panorma Bar in Berlin, and the infamous Secretsundaze parties in London.

After moving back to Ibiza in 2008, Fiorito held residencies at some of the larger clubs. Most recently, he has found a new home as music curator at La Granja Ibiza, where he has created one of that island’s most influential private parties—Farmers Ritual—a weekly gathering of global musical artists with an international tribe of followers.
